Review : True to description, very sturdy
I needed this to organize the inside of my apartment entryway closet, so I have NOT put it outside and I cannot attest to it's durability in the elements. But it is quite strong and sturdy. It is high enough to have space for our family of 5 but not so high that I cannot hang coats above it. I mostly hang the kids' coats and my shorter ones though, my husbands are a touch too long to be able to hang and use the top shelf. I use tubs for winter hats/gloves/scarves for each child, then their shoes go on the same shelf. Boots go on the ground.
When I put it together some of the screw holes were slightly mismatched so the reinforcement brackets were not completely straight, but they were all hidden on the underside of the shelves. They still secured the shelves to the frame properly, they just looked a little crooked. This shoe rack has a 5 year old, 3 year old and 1 year old (and their mother) using it at least 3 times a day and has held up quite nicely for these past 3...
