I bought this for my back patio to provide shade during a birthday party, which gets morning and early afternoon sun. The shade only comes with 3 short ties, so we had to use our own string to put it up. But once installed, it looks great and does a good job of keeping the patio shaded and cooled down for the evening. We like it so much, I think it's going to stay up all summer.
